A renowned Victorian landmark in Dublin, Thomas Prior Hall is one of the city’s most unique and special venues. Our 19th-century dining hall is adjoined to Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, offering both an event space and accommodation. Thomas Prior Hall is the perfect venue for weddings, events and parties.
From the tiled entrance hall to the stone carvings, our famous red-bricked building is adorned with delightful elements of its previous owners. The building was first opened as an orphanage and girls’ school by the Free Masons in 1882. It became such a success and was seen as a great example of architecture that even Queen Victoria’s interest was piqued. The queen and her daughter Princess Beatrice came to visit the school in 1990.
Just like the Queen’s welcome, we will give you an experience fit for royalty.
Our wedding and events team have a wealth of experience to ensure your occasion runs smoothly. The team work closely with you from the initial enquiry stage, right up to the day of the event.
